Teamsters Local 170: Dick Foley, Secretary-Treasurer's Report

Brother & Sister Members...

...We will be continuing our Buffalo Soldier Program during the month of February, and to date we have scheduled 30 schools that we will be visiting. I would like to give a very special thank you to our Buffalo Soldier Michael Washington from Roadway Express.

Keeping along those lines, our School-To-Work-Initiatives Program is still thriving. We will be scheduling some seminars for our trainers, and we will be attending numerous schools as well. This is all possible due to the hard work and effort of our volunteers and Co-Chairs of this Committee John Millett and Vanessa Williamson.

These are just some of the exciting programs that we will be working on in the New Year. I’m sure that there will be many, many more, and with your help we might even form a few new committees.

As always, let’s get involved because it is your Local Union, and the only way we can make it strong is by working together to build these committees.

In closing, if you haven’t already joined, get involved and join one of these committees!

P.S. Keep an eye on the kids for they are our future!!
