The Roadmap is designed to give Local Unions and Joint Councils direction and information on how to go about beginning or expanding school-to-work programs or activities in their communities.

The Roadmap is divided into three sections:

In addition, a Glossary has been included to help locals become familiar with popular terms and basic concepts associated with the School-to-Work Opportunities Act.
